The club and the university

AI Alignment @ Illinois is a registered student organization. It is independent of and autonomous from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is not a unit or agent of the university, and does not speak for it.

Events are organized by students and are not sponsored by the university. Room names are given for location only and imply no endorsement.

The university's name appears on this site only to say where the club is based.

Terms of use

Using this site means accepting these terms and the privacy policy.

• Sign in only to your own account.
• Use the members' dashboard to arrange meetings with members. Do not copy it in bulk or use it for unrelated outreach.
• Do not send automated traffic to the forms or work around the sign-in limits.

Dashboard accounts

An account on the members' dashboard at dashboard.aialignmentillinois.org needs an @illinois.edu address. Keep one account, in your own name, and keep its password to yourself.

What you put on your profile should be accurate and yours to share. The club can edit or remove a profile, or close an account, that misrepresents someone, harasses anyone, or breaks these terms.

Content on this site

The words, images and designs here belong to the club or to the people who made them. Link to any page freely, and ask before reusing anything else.

Other services

Applications run on Google Forms, the calendar on Google Calendar, bookings on Cal.com and Calendly, and the newsletter on Substack. The club also has pages on Discord, Instagram and LinkedIn. Each of these runs under its own terms and privacy policy.

Naming a speaker, an employer or a service on this site implies no endorsement by them or by the club.

No warranty

Dates, rooms and details change. Check the events calendar or the Discord before you go.

This site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the club and its officers are not liable for any loss that comes from using it.
